MathDash Support
Something not working, or a question? Email [SUPPORT EMAIL] and I'll get back to you — it's a small operation, usually within a day or two.
It helps to know which device you're on and which mode you were in.
Common questions
Does MathDash need an internet connection?
No. Everything works offline, including Duel and Classroom Mode — those use a direct connection between nearby devices rather than the internet.
Does it cost anything, or have ads?
No. No ads, no in-app purchases, no subscriptions.
Does my child need an account?
No. There's no sign-up and no login. Progress is saved on the device.
Duel or Classroom can't find the other device
This is nearly always the local network permission. Both devices need to be near each other with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth switched on — they connect directly, not through a router or the internet. iOS asks for permission to find devices on the local network the first time the app runs; if that was declined, switch it back on in Settings › MathDash.
How do I reset progress?
Deleting and reinstalling clears everything, since all progress is stored on the device itself.
Will progress move to a new device?
Not currently. Progress lives on the device it was made on.
What ages is it for?
Roughly 6 to 12 — anyone learning or drilling their math facts. It covers addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, 0 through 12.
My child uses larger text or VoiceOver
Both are supported, along with Reduce Motion. If something reads badly with those turned on, please tell me — that's worth fixing.
What do you collect about my child?
Nothing. The privacy policy has the detail.
